Completed Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT, KGP) in 1993 under the guidance of Dr. G.B. Nando.  The work was to develop low-smoke, fire-resistant, cable sheathing compound based on thermoplastic polyurethane( TPU) and Kevlar.

Completed M. Tech (Polymer Technology)  with First Rank from the Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1987
